Module One
The Role of a Health and Wellbeing Coach
This module introduces the core principles of professional health and wellbeing coaching. You’ll explore how wellbeing is defined — from philosophical roots to modern perspectives — and why balance matters.
We’ll clarify the difference between wellness and wellbeing, outline your role and responsibilities as a coach, and examine client needs and readiness for change.


Module Two
Coaching Skills
This module develops the essential skills every effective coach needs. You’ll learn how to build rapport and emotional connection, strengthen your communication, and develop genuine, focused listening.
You’ll also practice asking thoughtful, insight-driven questions that help clients reflect, clarify, and move forward with purpose.
Module Three
Coaching Models
This module introduces the core frameworks that shape effective coaching sessions. You’ll learn how to apply the GROW model to structure conversations with clarity — from setting meaningful goals and exploring current reality, to generating options and establishing clear action.
We’ll also introduce motivational interviewing techniques and explore the psychology of procrastination and persistence, helping you guide clients beyond insight into sustained follow-through.

Emotional Health, Habits and Behaviour
This module explores how emotions and habits shape wellbeing. You’ll examine the role of the emotional brain, understand core emotions and their impact, and learn how to work constructively with emotional patterns in coaching.
We’ll also explore the science of habits and practical behaviour change strategies, equipping you to help clients create sustainable change rather than short-term motivation.
Module Five
Managing Stress
This module explores how the nervous system influences stress, behaviour and overall wellbeing. You’ll learn to recognise the signs of stress in clients, understand the role of the vagus nerve and nervous system regulation, and explore how polyvagal theory can inform coaching conversations.
We’ll also examine the characteristics of stress resilience, introduce practical stress-management frameworks, and look at how reflective tools such as journaling can support personal development and emotional regulation.

Module Six
Coping + Food Relationship + Movement
This module examines coping strategies, emotional eating and movement as key influences on wellbeing. You’ll explore unhelpful coping patterns, the six stages of change, and the role of motivation, triggers and self-sabotage.
We’ll clarify your scope of practice around food and nutrition, introduce mindful approaches to eating, and consider how movement can support sustainable lifestyle change.
Module Seven
Neuroplasticity + Meditation + Breath
This module explores how the brain adapts and how practices such as meditation and breathwork can enhance wellbeing. You’ll examine neuroplasticity, understand brainwave states, and be introduced to different meditation approaches, including focused attention and open monitoring.
We’ll clarify your scope of practice when using meditation as a Health & Wellbeing Coach, explore how to lead simple sessions, and consider the role of effective breathing in supporting regulation and resilience.
Module Eight
Self-Care and Self-Love
This module explores how to build sustainable self-care practices and develop a healthier relationship with yourself. You’ll examine concepts such as hedonic adaptation, common obstacles to self-care, and how identity shapes behaviour.
You’ll learn how to create realistic self-care practices that last, cultivate self-compassion and self-respect, and consider the role of your home environment in supporting wellbeing.
Module Nine
Business Boundaries + Ethics
This module covers the boundaries that ensure safe, professional coaching practice. You’ll explore boundary setting, confidentiality, safeguarding and cultural sensitivity, alongside the realities of managing time, cancellations, fees and professional conduct.
We’ll also look at emotional involvement, your energy and fitness to practise, and the importance of supervision and ongoing professional development — all grounded within a clear code of ethics.

Getting Your Coaching Practice Organised
This module focuses on the practical steps involved in setting up and running a professional coaching practice. You’ll define your ideal client, shape your authentic coaching story, and design services that reflect your strengths and values.
We’ll cover how to structure effective discovery calls, create a professional welcome pack, support client progress between sessions, and manage essential documentation with clarity and confidence.
Module Eleven
Setting You Up For Success
This final module helps you strengthen your confidence and address internal barriers that can hold you back as a coach. You’ll focus on practical preparation, clarify your professional manifesto, and explore how to recognise and move through limiting beliefs and resistance.
We’ll also examine your relationship with money and value, helping you step forward with greater conviction in your work and your path.
